Better Days is the moniker chosen by James Jaskolka for his folk-twinged emo project. They are gearing up to re-release their debut EP ‘Exist’ with two brand new songs added to the mix. One of those new songs is called ‘The Itis’ and we couldn’t be more excited to be sharing this song with you guys. These tracks find a lot of their beauty in Jaskolka’s minimalist approach – all but one of these tracks are stripped down acoustic songs. ‘The Itis’ is no exception to this formula. The lyrics speak of heartbreak and a loss of identity in a way that is sure to resonate with listeners. You can listen to ‘The Itis’ in full after the cut, and you can pre-order ‘Exist: A Collection of Recordings from 2012-2015′ here.
