Short Handed Premiere Debut Music Video For “Man’s Best Friend”

Short Handed, one of Chicago’s many emo bands, recently released their latest single, “Man’s Best Friend,” and are now pleased to present you with their debut music video. Rather than writing a heartbreaking love song from his own point of view as many artists do, vocalist/guitarist Bill Perkins touches on the subject from a rather atypical and perhaps more sentimental angle.

“This is a song told from my dog Lucifer’s point of view just before my first return from college.
This was Lars, our director’s, first music video, shot before our show at the Beat Kitchen on January 13th all around Chicago. We wanted to make something original, fun, and something that showcased our personalities. We believe this was everything we had hoped!” – Bill Perkins

“Man’s Best Friend” was recording in Hammond, Indiana, in October of 2016 and sought recording, mixing, and mastering from Roye Robley. Short Handed’s first music video, shot by Lars Juveland, can be streamed below.
