Premiere: Safely Embrace The Nostalgia of the Early 2000’s with “Islands”

Posted 2 years ago by Joel Funk

Safely have fully embraced what made the alternative scene of the early 2000’s one worth remembering. On their new single, “Islands,” Safely combine attributes of [mall] emo torchbearers like Armor For Sleep and The Used while feeling big enough to have catapulted them alongside radio rock bands of decades past. There’s something undeniable about the music this band makes, and you’re going to want to make sure that you’re paying attention to it. They have a new self-titled EP coming out on May 6th through Ronald Records. You can stream “Islands” below.
