Premiere: Grady Phillip Drugg Invokes Ambient Nostalgia with “Who Can Really Say” Music Video
Grady Phillip Drugg is responsible for a collection of songs that fans of lo-fi heroes Elvis Depressedly and Teen Suicide are bound to love. There’s something about the feel of the recording working in perfect harmony with Grady’s vocals that adds a warm and comfortable attribute to these songs. We couldn’t be more excited to share the music video for a song from their debut album called “Who Can Really Say” with y’all today. The video accurately embodies the traits of the music, with a lo-fi VHS feel that only amplifies the ambience and aesthetic that already surrounded the song. Their self-titled debut album is seeing a physical release through Near Mint Records on May 20th, and is available for pre-order here. You can watch the music video for “Who Can Really Say” after the cut.
