Brett Ayala Jones Brings Us Out West with “Neon God”
Close your eyes for a second. Now, imagine yourself sitting in the trunk seat of your grandfather’s old station wagon; facing the outside world instead of the back of somebody else’s seat. You’re riding through the dry and dusty heat of Arizona and can hear your grandfather singing along to the music coming from the radio. That’s the imagery that Brett Ayala Jones, formerly of Fireworks, brings to the table with his newest single, “Neon God.” That slow, southern rock guitar and Brett’s whiskey warm vocals beg for campfire sing-a-longs. The track comes from Brett’s new EP, San Pedro, which is due out on November 18th through Save Your Generation Records. You can pre-order San Pedro here, and you can stream “Neon God” below.
